Wow do I have Spring Fever. Now is a good time to be planning your vegetable garden if you live in the northern portions of the USA. Some Places still have snow, but that shouldn't stop you. Garden panning will go a long way when it comes time to plant. A good idea is to choose what you want to grow and start to order seeds now in March. Sketch your garden about one inch to a foot on a big piece of paper. Using a ruler or strait edge create rows. Make sure the larger plants have the appropriate amount of room first then create rows for the other smaller plants like peppers. If you run low on space you can plant things like Scallions, Radishes and baby lettuce amongst the larger plants and harvest before the the bigger plants like Tomatoes start to get big. Spring is here and with the price of food gardening is sure to be popular in 2008.
