Robo Defense This Android app starts out like a normal tower defense oriented game. The player builds mazes with several upgrade capable towers in order to prevent their enemies from transitioning from one area of a room to another. Therein ends the normal portion of the game.
Beyond the standard play once you start to win or lose games the score at the end of the game session is granted to the player as a form of currency payable toward purchases that can improve your towers the next time you play a game round. This methodology leads to a great deal of replay value. The hardest setting cannot be beaten the first time it is played. Previous upgrades must be purchased to even have a chance of winning. Robo Defense has a list of unlockable achievements that grant a cool factor to the game. These achievements allow for interest methods of play and reasons to keep coming back to the game time and time again. To further the interest levels of these achievements the designers of the game continually add new ones that people can try to attain. For instance, a hidden boss enemy that occasionally spawns while playing has been added. There is of course a correlating achievement for defeating him. This android game app comes complete with a random level generator which includes somewhat random obstacles throughout the game map. This variety leads to many new ways to play a given level and continues to allow the game to have replay value. |
